Avi, thanks for the info.
There is also a Jira for this, so I guess we can close that one again, or maybe let it stay open for a couple of days, so it's easier for people to find.

About glitches in audio - since FS uses a monotonic timer it shouldn't be a problem.

I ran: $ date -s "`date`"
and the CPU usage went immediately back to the norm. Not sure if it glitched the audio when doing so, though...
This is just a PSA and YMMV.
