[Freeswitch-users] Connecting to FreeSWITCH from a C Program

I want to connect to FreeSWITCH from a C Program and make some calls and
know when a particular call is over.

An example would be connectin usingh telnet and then we can make calls
using "api originate" and recieve events like CHANNEL_DESTROY  to know
that a call is over. Want to do something similar from my C program
