[Freeswitch-users] FreeSwitch Error: "username param is REQUIRED!"

If you're still getting the error after putting in a password then
something isn't configured correctly. Paste your entire gateway xml file to
pastebin.freeswitch.org and the gang here will offer you some suggestions.
