[Freeswitch-users] set_user effect

set_user only sets the variables from the user in the directory on the current session.

If you look at the usage you can "<user>@<domain> [prefix]"

So you can set_user bob at example.com user_  

It will prefix the vars from the user with user_  and your assessment of what is going on is wrong.
