Text should be simple the protocol (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Notification_Protocol) has been
successfully reverse engineered and used by several open source projects
(e.g. Pidgin, libmsn).
Audio/video is probably not possible because that hasn't been reverse
engineered.
Sounds like Microsoft are working on developing interop with Google Talk
though, so mod_dingaling might be able to be used in future (but not yet).
