that's a pretty clear explanation, and answers many frequently asked questions.

Can you please add it to the wiki (eg: "FS on virtual machines", and
add links to it from "amazon" and "aws" related pages) ?

I'm sure lot of people will find it interesting, and hopefully some
other people (and/or you) will add more info and experiences to it.
