[Freeswitch-users] Different api calls from Dialplan

Hello, freeswitch-users, I've a question regarding dialplan.

Is there a difference between this two function calls (made from the dialplan)
for FreeSWITCH?

a) <action application="set" data="api_result=${ilx_read $1}" inline="true"/>

b) <action application="set" data="api_result=${ilx_read ($1)}" inline="true"/>
							 ^  ^
The thing is on one of my boxes both calls work, and on the other only b) works
