[Freeswitch-users] application and media server

Hi  ,
should i use sip server to connect the application server with the freeswitch (media server).
 
client ---- application server --- sip server ---- freeswitch
 
and is MSCML or VXML embedded in the sip message so the application server can control the freeswitch.
