[Freeswitch-users] Extending the field size of core's db_data table?

Hello,

  We use the DB api for storing and caching various data. We need to store
data that is longer than 255 characters, which is the current limit on the
field size there.

The backend for this API is MySQL (via ODBC). Can I just increase the field
size in MySQL, or is there some dependency in FreeSwitch on this size?
