Yes, I appreciate that.

However, *I*'m very old!, and probably much too conservative, as are 
some clients - though we're still using lots of Linux, IT, and, maybe, FS!

Some employees already use smartphones, but I believe the client is 
REDUCING the support and usage of these, because of the very high costs, 
and no proportional benefits, and opportunities to just "waste" lots of 
employee time on them, etc...
