[Freeswitch-users] Using Limit

hi

im new to freeswitch. By looking at wiki, i dont see many examples using
limit with API.

I just want to limit the no. of calls on a particular DID number when calls
comes to freeswitch. Before doing any other operation, I want to set / get
the no. of channels on the number.

Do I still need to using XML to set the limit before forwarding to desired
SIP address ? or we need to use API ?
