[Freeswitch-users] Setting up GIT

So, I downloaded Git and then I ran the following commands:

cd /usr/local/freeswitch-1.0.6
sudo make current

I got the following error:

make: *** [is-scm] Error 1

So I ran these commands:

sudo git clone git://git.freeswitch.org/
sudo make current

I still get the same error message. Any ideas?
