Wow! It seems to work. I get caller id again.

Not sure what modem_type I got, I skipped that step ;-). So it is
possible it may not be adhere with Australian standards, it works with
my phone though, so I am happy.

Now if only I could get the analogue phone's flash function to work ;-).
