Hi Will,

 

One way: Set the effective_caller_id_name in the LineId.xml files in the
profiles you are using.

<include>

  <user id="1045">

    <params>

    </params>

    <variables>

      <variable name="effective_caller_id_name" value="FirstName LastName"/>

 

 

I had asked the same question earlier today.  I have attached the answer I
got.

Where/how does mod_directory associate a name with an extension?  Meaning,
what variable and where does it get the "last name" of the extension user?

I searched the wiki and could not find much on mod_directory and how it
works. Will this information be updated soon?

It is mod_directory. I haven't tried it yet. Please test drive it and report
back.
