I suspect you're doing a dirty update and have build skew.  How exactly are you doing your updates?  Trunk has been very stable and only getting better moving forward... if you had real issues you should be reporting them in jira.  Not ignoring the issues.  Thats how things don't get fixed.  I would rather you open a jira and let me see the issue and close it with "Not A Bug" then chance letting a bug slip thru.
