you are missing:

call-command: execute

and optionally:

event-lock: true // if you want this event to be exclusive until its done
and
async: true // if you are in sync mode and you want to do the command async


you might want to look at the ESL lib and use that instead of rolling your
own event socket code which
usually generates many question and answer sessions like this one.
