[Freeswitch-users] Slightly OT: Pulling specific git "revisions"

Hello everyone,

  I've got scripts for building specific SVN revisions of FreeSWITCH
(for AstLinux, etc).  How do I best accomplish this with git?  I'm
looking for something like this:

svn co -r 17856

  ...but for git.  Any ideas?  I've looked at various git docs, sites,
etc and I can't seem to come up with something equivalent.
