[Freeswitch-users] Voicemail in MP3

A couple of things to check:

1. Make sure to enable mod_shout in the runtime installation folder:
   e.g. /usr/local/freeswitch/conf/autoload_conf/modules.conf.xml
2. I found the variable vm_message_ext to apply to sent emails, not
received.  For an internal extensions test set this variable for both ends.

I have installed mod_shout and edited the modules.conf.xml to installed 
it as well. I have updated the user.xml to include <variable 
name="vm_message_ext" value="mp3"/>.... Messages are still being saved 
in WAV format. Missing Step? Thanks
