Sofia and some other FS bits use some XP and higher APIs, I never had
the time to properly try to backport FS to win2k.

Really you might want to consider upgrading from an OS that is now over
a decade old if you actually want to use it for a production purpose.
Alternately post a bounty for doing the backport (its a little more
complicated than I'd hoped, IIRC).
