I'm not sure what you mean?

If you mean a dialplan context, then a variable is set on a channel
(call). It will still be set on that channel if it is transferred to
another dialplan context.

If you mean during a bridged call exporting a A-Leg (incoming channel)
variable onto the B-Leg (outgoing channel) look at the export app:
