Ok, but is it possible to have more than one profile responsible for a
domain for some type of multi-homed setup?

I tried using a single presence db for all profiles with:
<param name="dbname" value="share_presence"/>

It works well with the 'sofia_contact' command, using:
sofia_contact <any_profile_name>/<myuser>@<mydomain>

It will return the dialstring with the profile where the phone was
registered (no need to know it beforehand).
