[Freeswitch-users] Why not Ubuntu

I have seen a few posts where it has been recommended not to use ubuntu to
run freeswitch on. I'll admit I did not pay that much attention. Is there a
really pressing reason not to or is it a preference of most users not to?
I would prefer to use Ubuntu as that is what I am used to.
