[Freeswitch-users] user_exists / user_registered?

perhaos not the nicest way, but you could use sofia_contact.

sofia_contact <profile>/<user id>@<domain>

If it returns:
error/user_not_registered
then you know it is not registered.

if it is, the answer would be a string starting with:
sofia/<profile>/etc...
