In an ideal world, of course; however:-
(a) the quick hack is probably a path of lesser resistance to getting 
Zhao up
and running with FS;
(b) he said it was an inbound SIP provider, rather than a phone, that he 
was
using, so he'd need to get them to fix their end: might be trivial, 
might not.
