 Oops, forgot something. 
If I do it by setting the working directory from cmd and then running FS from there then the "fsctl shutdown restart" does work.

did that actually work in windows, i don't think it's been tested there.

does it print anything at the end?

is your CWD the same as in are you starting it from a cmd.exe in the same dir as the binary or setting

the working dir to that place?

Are you running it in the foreground so you can see what happens?



I do that many times a day and i have no seen it.
