if you want to do that,
Just use the "transfer" application.
<action application="transfer" data="6000"/>
you don't even need to bother with any sip then.

Can I make freeswitch to use the dialplan for the redirect number too?
That is, to run the dialplan again, but for the new number. (and by
doing so, i will be able to provide a new extension instead of a
complete sip uri)
