that maybe you have not install all of the module,

make installall

it will generate the file freeswitch.xml at /urs/local/freeswitch/conf, pls check it.

Happy new year!

I'm new to Freeswitch and just downloaded the snapshot
and installed it on my Mac g3 (b&w). It didn't give me
any errors but  when I went to start it, it says
"Cannot Initilize [Cannot Open XML Root!]".

I saw the annotation of the switch_xml.c file and was
wondering how to use it.  What am I doing wrong?
