If anyone wants to send me one or more of those boards too It would go a long way to help development.  It would be nice to have one of the ones that have the zaptel compat tdm devices so we can get both openzap and freeswitch running on them...

Not much was really done, we are all busy with other projects.
However, I agree that we should combine our efforts and start moving.
I would suggest to use the astfin tree as it's relatively easy to modify to 
add additional components. Astfin is currently using the latest released 
toolchain and uClinux (with several patches from svn). Astfin would also 
allow to use BlackfinOne, IP04, 4FX and PR1 hardware as those boards are 
already defined
I can create a custom branch for freeswitch and we could start from there, 
please provide me with your sourceforge user ID and I will add you to the 
project.
