The current freeswitch.msi should not have any missing dll's except for
the possible exception of the C runtime. As I do not build a full
installer right now, you may need to install the C runtime, if it is not
already installed on your pc. The link to download this is:

As for the linux download, what kinf of errors did you have, the install
should be very simple. There is a quick getting started building guide
available at:
http://www.freeswitch.org/gettingstarted.html
