[Freeswitch-docs] Confluence Code Macro - wordwrap

That is precisely the kind of thing that the reader will copy and paste into his terminal session. The scroll bar allows him to view everything on the long line, if he is even bothering to look at it. I bet most people just copy and paste it.
If it wraps won’t that cause problems with the paste operation? The ssh session will interpret the wraps as newlines?
If he wants to modify the packages he can paste it into vi or emacs and edit it, then paste it.
I’m not seeing the problem?
Besides, a panel macro will wrap text inside it so they already have that capability.

it's for a very long apt-get install line

Code that wraps to the next line can be confusing to read.
I don’t understand what you are trying to accomplish. Please explain.
Thanks.

This was added to recent confluence version (3.2 I think), and there's improvements in > 4.0.

I am certain that it does NOT do word wrap, but it does create a horizontal scroll bar if a line is wider than your viewport. This is intentional and I don’t think that it can be changed.
Perhaps a Panel would be a better control?
Or even a Column nested inside a Section? A Confluence column can be specified to a percentage width or a pixel width and automatically wrap.
Hope this helps.

Bote,
Can you check if the code macro is configured to do wordwrap by default?
I don't have the right permissions to do it, you can check this on the plugin configuration.
We need to enable the wordwrap on this dependencies box:
