[Freeswitch-dev] FreeSWITCH retry to epmd daemon

In current version ( latest master ) if Freeswitch can't connect to epmd on startup, or if the connection to epmd dies, Freeswitch just stops trying. Is there any specific reason to not attempt to retry connecting to epmd all the time in mod_erlang_event.c module?  
Any help is greatly appreciated.
