[Freeswitch-dev] adding an event

hi,

I'm using gsmopen and trying to get the current gsm reception, roaming
status, battery levels etc. on a regular basis.

Currently there is an error when the phone is roaming or there is no or
little reception, but this isn't enough for me. I need constant feedback.
>From what I can figure, I need to add an event for those cases. What is the
best way to do that?
Where are the places I should touch?
