[Freeswitch-dev] freeSWITCH pause

At the moment it doesn't look like there is, but it should be a pretty easy
patch to make it possible.

The switch_core_ready() function will tell you whether FS is ready (not
paused and not shutting down). It just needs a module (probably
mod_commands) to be patched to check that function.

It could also be useful to add it to the status api.
