sorry to bother you again... just to be sure that I got it right:
are you saying that with a 3.4 gcc I could compile FS?

used a gcc 3.4.6 actually;
while on the prerequisites
http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Installation_Guide#Unix-like_systems
we state gcc 3.95 is necessary.

Look my brand new toolchain !! :-D
