[Freeswitch-dev] [freeswitch-dev] channel driver question

I have a question.  I am working with a group that is developing some
channel drivers for Asterisk.  I have been asked to investigate what is
involved in porting an Asterisk channel driver to Freeswitch.  Are the
Asterisk and Freeswitch channel drivers similar or are they distinctly
different?
