Ok.
I've got the latest spandsp
(http://www.soft-switch.org/downloads/snapshots/spandsp/spandsp-20080725.tar
.gz) building successfully in VS2008 (wasn't easy).
Now I see the interface has changed and what used to work in socket2me,
doesn't anymore.
Anyone interested in assisting?

Use the latest spandsp snapshots if you want to work with MSVC. The
latest snapshot has most of the MSVC related changes that Mike has
worked out so far. He still has a few to go, before spandsp can be
considered properly supported with MSVC.
