[Freeswitch-dev] Newbie perl/python dialplan?

For a newbie (and coming from asterisk), how should a
basic script look for connecting freeswitch to a
postgresSQL database (or any db)? How close does it
resemble scripts for Asterisk? In Perl? In Python?

Please advise.
