I will likely be correct if I am wrong, but I do not think you can log
into googles servers directly as they require SSL and that currently
isnt supported (although its planned).  You can still talk to/from gtalk
users by connecting to a different compatible jabber server.  I believe
the freeswitch.org jabber server works with google though.
